(no subject)

This is just to say that the best use I have found for my iPad mini since purchasing it before the pandemic is as a means of accessing Gotomypc. Not because I am of the 'It's Great To Be Able To Serve My Employers Anywhere Anytime Anyhow!' school of thought, but because it means that on WFH days, if my 15-year-old cat comes up behind me and meows plaintively, I can park myself in the recliner, pull the lightweight never-completed-never-will-be-completed afghan I started knitting ages ago onto my lap, and oblige her with an hour of lap time while still, as far as anyone knows, being a perfectly attentive purveyor of technical support and configurer of all things IT.

Wearable muslin: robe, Thimball TW57

This is one of two robe patterns I bought from Thimball on Etsy. Figured I'd sew them up in polyester satin and see which worked better before I cut into the fabric from my parents' anniversary trip to Italy.
