Well, they let us work from home today rather than take chance son the weather. I'm not seeing the conditions I was afraid of- it's not blizzarding and I didn't see anything that looked like ice accumulation on the roads or wires- but given that the MBTA pinged me around 8 AM to let me know that oh yeah those signals that control whether trains move or not? they're not working so good? so you might be stuck at a train station for a while as we try to turn them back on? and some of the train stations might not have power either?... given that, I'm not really fussed.

who am I kidding, I just don't want to deal with commuting if I can get my stuff done from home and the weather provided me with an office-wide reason to do so today
