Jun. 19th, 2020 08:53 amBandcamp's doing a fundraiser in honor of today being Juneteenth. Don't know if any of the musical artists you like are available through them, but the site is directing their cut of all sales money to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
This seemed like a good day to actually buy ambient tracks from some of the artists I found through Pandora. (I haven't been streaming music since work from home began- didn't want to take up too much bandwidth when I was dealing with wifi through a building constructed in 1910.) Even better, given the day and the circumstances, one of those artists is an African-American gentleman named Laraaji; I don't think I'd ever heard of him anywhere else but Pandora. Seems like an appropriate day to buy a bunch of the man's albums.
I have no idea why his prices are all denominated in pounds. I assume All Saints Records is based in the UK.
