(no subject)

Well, I'm at work and I'm awake, and that's both a good thing and something I haven't done in a while. Be at work, I mean- I forgot to take an actual vacation last year, and my company doesn't do carryovers for vacation days, so I had to burn off my days off by taking a bunch of Fridays and most of the tail end of December off. Back at work now, though. And mildly peeved at having to be awake after quite a stretch of sleeping late but what can you do.

The closest I get to New Year's resolutions this year is that I plan on reading the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius. I reserve the right to do any or all of the things I have previously sworn off in my Doable New Year's Resolution lists, including attempting to eat rocks, pick up my house with my bare hands, or detonate the Sun. Fair warning.
