(no subject)

Woke up this morning, looked at phone; phone said it was 11 degrees F out. checked Weather Underground, which said yeah, the phone's right, and also it's -9F windchill.

We don't have as much snow up here as you guys in New York have, as far as I can tell, but I sure hope it's warmer for you. (And I'm so glad that I made a point of buying insulated curtains. I still need to get a set for the front part of the apartment, but at least the bedroom and living room aren't leaking nearly as much heat through the windows any more.)
