Jul. 22nd, 2012 10:04 amGh. Apparently my subconscious wants to be on badassoftheweek.com. Either that or it wants to be in a James Bond movie, one of the two.
I have no idea what I was doing at the French dude's mansion on the sunny tropical island along with the other people, or what exactly went horribly wrong, but something happened and we had to escape from it in a hurry. And there wasn't an available boat to commandeer and flee in, so we dove into the water, which wasn't the best idea because there were sharks and underwater defenses, but at least someone had left a number of surfboards and boogieboards lying around so some of us were able to grab those, and when one of the sharks showed up (in its defense it was only about as long as a person, not cinematic Great White size) I distinctly remember punching it repeatedly in the nose through one of the boards. Not through a hole, but by positioning the board so that punching it would smash the whole weight of the board into the shark's nose for maximum effect. Just a couple of times, enough to stun the thing for long enough to get back on the board and start kicking for all I was worth, since I needed to get up a head of steam to get past the underwater barriers safely...
Seriously, I would have liked some context for that.
