fire_and_a_rose, specifically. In that whole 'America's a great place if you have adequate health insurance, please note the if' kind of way. We're talking family debt, medically shot credit rating, no cash for meds- she's got Lyme disease, bartonella, and babesia, which is about as painful as your average case of malaria but without the excuse to drink gin and tonic. She's been doing everything she can to get enough money together to keep up her treatment, but... yeah, no, not happening. She's tapped out and it's not gonna get a whole lot better from here without help.
I'm hoping that at least some of y'all can lend a hand via Paypal. Her address there is kat dot snyder at gmail dot com. If you could stop by there and drop her something, that would be fantastic. Thank you.
