...sorry, Hoboken has their St. Patrick's. Day parade early, I guess so they don't lose drinkin' revenue to Manhattan. I'm holed up at an Asian fusion restaurant- I'm the only customer- while the people who've been drinking since the bars opened at 11 this morning watch the parade.
There were signs for directions to 'pee stations' wheere you could go, because all the stores are marked 'restrooms for customers only' and public piddlin' gets you a two thousand dollar fine.
As for why I even left the house, I started towards my goal of passing the Army fitness test for 36 year olds by my next birthday. .6 miles run to start with. Did it in 5:20. Destination was a sporting goods store where I could get a heel insert for a bone spur. More tomorrow.
