(no subject)

Locked myself out when I was trying to take out the trash this morning, but it was only one lock and the owner's got a spare key. Missed my bus, but I was able to email the office and tell them why and that I was taking the next one. Got out of the Port Authority and into rain, but it turned out to be drizzle that mostly petered out while I was on the way into the office. Shark Week on the Discovery Channel (so to speak), but it started on Tuesday and the worst of it's passed.


I appreciate it when things do not go as wrong as they could go.

ETA: continuing in this vein, the spare key worked, but got stuck in the lock; on the other hand the superintendent lives next door and should have some WD-40 in a few hours, or something of that nature.
