Was up until three-ish last night with anxiety over vacation feeling like cheating. I've got a week's worth of time off and I'm going with 'doing tourist things in New York' as my vacation, as I spent more on the move out of Jersey City than I intended. (Yes, tourist things are expensive, but they're not as expensive as plane travel unless you do a LOT of them.) Being at home on a work day when I'm not actively sick feels like I'm playing hooky or cheating or otherwise doing something awfully illegitimate, and that made it hard to sleep.

Woke up this morning at somewhat-earlier-than-get-to-work-o-clock to the tune of HONK HONK HONK for about ten or fifteen minutes from the street below.

Whoever ordered the taxi and then failed to respond, if you don't have a SUPER good reason, I hope your next plane flight involves a cranky baby.

Turns out the problem with my Xbox's right control stick was an issue with the saved games for that particular character, at least at that point in his progress... I loaded the old game up, hit the problem again, loaded another game, had no issue at all. Am now working my way into Mothership Zeta for a bit since I'm waiting for an early grocery delivery before I do actual vacationy things.
