Jun. 2nd, 2009 02:40 amfinally got the all-sourdough no-domestic-yeast recipe to work. woo. I think I added a bit too much water because on the third rise (first rise: sponge stage, second rise: first stage after kneading, third rise: after shaped into loaves) it started to get all slumpy. I opted to tuck both loaves as back together as I could and shoved 'em into the oven the second it had heated up enough. the resultant bread is really quite good and since there are two loaves I can offer one tomorrow for Danii & Sherri. I am pleased.
and now to bed, because I am no longer waiting on the good graces of a yeast sample with a longer verifiable pedigree than me.
