Jun. 27th, 2008 08:57 ammade it to Detroit, Land of Tequila.
no, seriously, Jose Cuervo has this big huge tequileria in the Detroit Wayne County airport. I don't know why. I'm waiting for my plane now in what's probably the looooongest airplane terminal I've ever had to deal with. This is my second time here, so I knew what to expect and I took the train this time (it runs along the upper level of the terminal), but...
gnh. the best refreshments to be had in airports are in the coffee shops and I can't HAVE coffee right now because I'm going to try to sleep on the plane to Seattle. this stinks. (The hash browns at the place down by gate 55 in the Northwest terminal aren't much to write home about, either. big portion, but soggy and flavorless, and not even fried enough to be interesting.)
If I wake up before I hit Seattle I'm gonna try writing up another HL 2 entry, but I plan on spending as much of the trip as possible with my eyes shut and my eye mask on.
