Long story short? The news stories about Australian Santas supposedly being told not to say 'ho ho ho' because it was 'demeaning to women because of being American slang for hookers' are total bupkis. A bunch of Santas were briefed on other things to say to kids who might be frightened by the big boomy noise from a total stranger. And the guy who claimed he was fired for saying 'ho ho ho' and singing? His bosses say the reason he was fired was because of attitude problems, not what he said.
