(no subject)

Am at work. Still sweating at random intervals and generally feeling like crap, but I needed to get stuff done today. I've taken two Advil and a bottle of multivitamin water to wash them down with.

If I can get my work done in the morning I'll probably ask to leave early. i definitely intend to be asleep when the building management people come around to introduce themselves sometime between 7 and 9.

went home from work early.

sacked out on couch w/Belgariad books.

made, ate ramen.

went nappy-bye.

woke to sound of bldg mgmt ppl ringing bell to come visit and say hi to all tenants. ignored.

watched some Dr. Who.

phoned someone later. talked for about an hour. Had periodic ick fits; got up, made teeccino. mocha flavour. added plenty of milk, sugar, little honey. drank it all.

short while ago, coughed a lot. Suddenly had to puke. Quite a lot of dark brown came up; attributing this to teeccino colour + beef ramen. Puked repeatedly w/o nausea. no sign of noodles or other solids in the vomitus.

Flushed. Rinsed mouth. Sat down. Took temperature. 104.1.

.... smeg.

Waited 7 minutes. took temp.

104.3 or something similar.

hospital says 'not critical. go take ibuprofen and DRINK MORE FLUIDS'. bah.

am doing so anyway. also am taking cold bath shortly. someone w/my phone no. may want to call @ some point to check on me.

ETA: Am sweating now, which I was not doing before. Have also recorded temp of 103.0 degrees.

There is ice cream in my freezer.

I should do something about that.


ETA: 1:19 AM. am now down to 100.4 degrees and sweating liek wo. so that's something.

will go to Wilzig Medical Center tomorrow. My office should understand; I emailed them already, but unless Hippocrates himself materialises during the night and cures me I don't think this is the sort of thing one wants brought into work.
