Oct. 20th, 2005 07:45 amA slight snag has arisen in the OVFF plans:
My building's new superintendent came around last night to each apartment. They want to spray every apartment for roaches this Saturday, and when I say 'they want to' I mean that the word 'mandatory' was used. He'll be coming with a representative of building management and would I be so kind as to please fax them permission to enter if I'm not going to be in.
I need to board the cats with someone instead of leaving them to their own devices after all. ARGH!
ETA: Have given up on trying to find someone at the office who can put up the cats. They're going to be staying at the Hoboken Animal Hospital, starting tonight. Which is probably just as well, as they're more than a year out of date on their vaccinations (indoor cats to begin with, and my sister didn't take them for shots after she got pregnant, either). I'll reclaim them on Monday.
EATA: One of my co-workers has a friend who just offered to take the cats until Monday; he's been wanting to get one, and this way he gets to see what it's like to have to take care of them for a little while. So that's good, and I don't have to pay $20/night/cat for boarding. I'll get them vaccinated eventually,t hough.
