Some art y'all should know about:
Oct. 9th, 2005 12:41 amSomeone on
dear_multiverse introduced a character who was Janine Melnitz and Egon Spengler's daughter. The voices in my head* decided that I had to draw her, so I started on it, and then I added the appropriate details, and then I spent an hour looking for my Rapidograph pens and finally found only one of them worked. I inked her up and scanned her and commissioned
indigoskynet to do a re-inking and colour job, and hot damn did she ever do a good job so far as I'm concerned.
purpleprotonpac, if you're reading this, that's Janet Spengler for you.
Everyone else,
indigoskynet is taking commissions. (I think two of my other friends are, too.)
*Those of you who are not familiar with the voices in my head need not worry. A, they are not in fact voices, but merely borderline compulsive urges. I call them 'the voices' because it conveys the degree of constant badgering I feel when one of these urges arises. B, said urges invariably take forms like this:
LEARN TO BAKE CINNAMON ROLLS.
TODAY WOULD BE A REALLY GOOD DAY TO LEARN TO KNIT.
YOU WANT TO MAKE SOAP, DON'T YOU.
NO, FROM SCRATCH, NOT GLYCERINE MELT-AND-POUR. GO ON, GET A BOOK, WE'LL BE WAITING.
HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED LEARNING TO MAKE FUDGE?
PERHAPS TODAY WOULD BE A GOOD DAY TO BUY PENS AND LEARN TO DRAW WITH INK? NO? WELL, DO IT ANYWAY.
HOW ABOUT SOME CROSSOVER WRITING, BEEYOTCH?
They're not the same as other people's voices... anyway. Back to our story, mm?
