Okay, new question:

Does anyone who lives in the greater New York or northern New Jersey area have room in their homes for a pair of cats?

My sister has to get rid of her cats because her baby has turned out to be allergic to them. I'm willing to conceal them in my apartment for a while despite the no-critters clause in my rent, but I don't want it to be for long, as I'd rather not be discovered. The cats are males, about two years old, neutered and vaccinated. I think they may have been partially declawed. They're siblings, one named Tiki, the other Shula.
