A peculiar sense of peace

I dropped my car off at Jiffy Lube at lunchtime for a radiator flush. The car really does need a full tuneup, but I haven't got $320 right now, and the radiator light has been flashing at least once per day for the past five or six days. The idea that it'll be all right now gives me the most amazing sense of peace. Where I used to have dreams about my contact lenses getting all dried out and torn during times of anxiety, my stress dreams have been about my car lately.

I don't think I'm going to have any more of those for a while. Hooray!
