It's official.
Dec. 17th, 2002 03:20 pmI am the biggest geek in the Chapter, and possibly the biggest geek in our service region.
(In other words, I finished my XML in Bioinformatics term paper.)
I suspect I may be going to Heck; I used 'obsolete' as a verb, rather than bothering to say 'was declared obsolete on' thus-and-such a date. I reviewed around 15 markup languages, not that I could actually compose a document in any of them, and compared 'em to each other as far as I was able. It gets turned in tonight. I just hope the prof likes it - the other people in class had these fancy coding projects instead, but I can't program worth a bucket of warm spit so I wrote a term paper instead. I hope it's the sort of comparison he wanted. As long as I get my B, I'll be okay (it's a graduate course, I think that's the grade I need to pass his class). Yes, I get insecure about my computing skills when faced with real alpha geeks such as programmers and Ph.D.'s; why do you ask?
Enough of this. Let me see if I can print up some appendices, and then I will sit down and cover my right eye until the twitch in the lid goes away.
