class starts in about 15 minutes. Once again I get to sit here in my pyjamas and wonder whether technology hasn't gone too far. I mean, yes, it's good that I get to sleep later than usual on class days - but it's bad that the prof can say 'I'm teaching class on Saturdays, and if I don't feel like going to the school, I can say we're having class in a chat room and COME INTO YOUR HOMES WHERE YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE SAFE MUAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA'. There ought to be some kind of delineation between school and home, you know? (Thus speaks the person who only has to drive 20 minutes to get to her master's degree classes. Some of my classmates have an hour's drive or more. They all love chatroom classes and I can understand why.)
The realm of home and the realm of school should be kept separate, just like the realm of home and the realm of office work. If there were a separate space within my house that could be set aside as an office, and I could go there for chatroom classes, it would be better. Ah, well, not much left to this semester. I'll deal.
Besides, next weekend is Canada. YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY.
