Morning.

It's a bright and sunny morning, chilly as all get-out and windy as can be. I've just finished dealing with a stack of addresses to be corrected almost as long as my arm, and there's another stack yet to go. It snowed briefly on my way to work, but not for more than a few seconds; the clouds are gone now and the sky is bright blue.

Been going over some of my logs from the past few weeks. I've taken to logging most of my RP. I'm starting to feel a little bit guilty about one of the people I RP with. IC my character is more than a bit irritated with this person's character. OOC I've had the urge more than once to beat him over the head with a Clue Shovel for his tendency to commandeer conversations without apparently meaning to. Thing is, in the last week or so he's tended to page me and we've had some quite civilized, and even quite interesting, conversations via page. Nothing to do with the characters we play, mind you - stuff about movies, mostly. The fact that I OOC discuss this person with other players and all of us fume about his behavior makes me feel more than a bit guilty. Then again, I strongly suspect I may have missed my calling as a bartender somewhere along the way - I have an odd ability to strike up a sympathetic conversation with nearly anyone at least three hairs this side of sane, regardless of whether I agree with them or not. (It happened when I ran into a French Canadian on a Florida vacation once. He was Partie Quebecois. From what I know of Canadian politics, their positions are not positions I would agree with, but the conversation went awfully well nonetheless.) I just. . . am not sure what to do about this. I may simply keep my mouth shut about him OOC until/unless he does something really, really heinous. Then it's back to business as usual.
