I would have preferred to do this with my serger but I managed to screw that poor machine up while attaching elastic to stretchy fabric (I think I disengaged the knife the wrong way and pushed parts of the machine together that shouldn't have been). I'll be taking the serger to a repair shop this weekend but this was done with my sewing machine for now. Pattern is Ellie and Mac's kids raglan top pattern in size 10 relaxed fit. Fabric is DriRelease from SewDynamic; it's 82% recycled polyester, 11% tencel, and the rest is elastane. The thread is recycled polyester Gutermann thread from Wawak, so it's almost entirely either recycled material or sustainably produced.
I am aware that the scales point the wrong way. I had cut the fabric without paying attention to the direction in which I'd set the pattern templates down and I didn't want to waste the cloth. I have more of both fabrics so if my nibling objects or needs a larger size I can correct my mistake(s).
