I have seen enough awful Hong Kong movies in my time to appreciate any amount of effort at all put into a movie starring any of my HK favorites (Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Sammo Hung, Michelle Yeoh, the late Anita Mui). I do not care that according to the Wiki entry on this movie, Brody is playing the Tiberius who eventually becomes Rome's most notoriously grouchy emperor and Cusack's character Lucius is in fact Lucius Cornelius Sulla Felix, relatively early in his career. This is gonna be awesome no matter what the writers wind up doing.
If the Stone Angels were still around I'd be making the arrangements in advance even without having seen the movie. It's mostly a question of mechanics at this point- if I can figure out a way to plausibly make this happen I'll do it. I will also consider the possibility of apping Lucius there for body-swapping across time if a plot device that could make it happen exists.
Hijacking to mention that I just caught myself saving a bottle cap for Elle. Without even thinking about it. Don't know if Reed''s ginger beer would be recognized though.
Been there, man. I still remember walking past a Hoboken restaurant where they had had a trash bag rupture and spill about thirty bottlecaps for some reason, and just having to stop and stare and tell myself no.
