Did not get any work done on the bed yesterday. However, I did pick up the solar charger panel I'd been wanting to go with my battery pack recharger- not so much for camping, which is the purpose it was being sold for, as because it really only takes one Hurricane Sandy to make you uncomfortable with owning a communications device with a finite amount of power. So I've got that, and now I have to get some weights for the Gravity Light prototype that arrived the other day. (It's an Indiegogo-funded project to build an indoor lamp for the developing world that's strong enough to read and work by that will be powered solely by lifting and lowering heavy weights, since it's a hell of a lot easier to study and work when you haven't got to feed a smoky fire source in a poorly ventilated room.)

I have also paid off and/or canceled several credit cards, which I've been meaning to do for some time. All my debt is consolidated on one of them, which I am working on paying down, and the only other card I have is being kept for emergencies. (Here I am mostly thinking of my cats, but there are other emergencies.) So there's that, too.

I'd like to get the bed done before the end of next week. I'll be working on the nightstand tonight one way or another.

ETA: Oh! Now I remember what I was going to ask here. I'm looking at soap recipes, because it's been ages since I made soap from scratch. It may be some time before I get them done but if anyone near me is interested in a few bars, let me know. Preferably before I do anything that involves adding scent, so I can get the oils if need be.
