The IRS accepted your federal return...
.... which I'd submitted around 8:30 PM.
I'm not complaining, you understand. I'm just amazed at how quickly they can say "okay, you're good". The refund won't be for a while yet, obvs., but they accepted the return, which is the major step.
I now have to wait for New York and New Jersey to accept my returns. And to talk to someone Official and find out whether being a resident of the state of Massachusetts for eleven days in 2012 means I have to file a Massachusetts state return too.

Date: 2013-04-13 03:15 pm (UTC)I'm just glad that this year I'll be making my money in the state I live in. Filing NJ taxes tends to give me an EEH HH EEEH HH moment or two at how much NJ says I owe, right up until I remember I haven't gotten to 'credit for taxes paid to other jurisdictions' yet.
