Yet another way you know you're me:

you catch yourself singing merrily along, out loud with 'King of Pain' as you page through the warnings at THIS site:

You wanna find Isidore's current location? Pop up to that link above. The National Oceanographic and Aeronautic Administration (I think that's what NOAA is for) puts out warnings every few hours when there's big-ass storms kicking around the ocean, and right now we've got two. Isidore is aiming for Cuba and points north; Josephine is six hundred miles from Newfoundland and is probably going to be taken off the tropical storm list very soon, as she's merged with a cold front. Still throwing around 60 MPH winds, though, so I wouldn't go out for swordfish any time soon.

Emergency services in the southeastern US are being put on alert as Isidore looks like he might make hurricane tonight and head over to tap-dance through the Florida Keys. Either way, we're all kinda holding our breaths at this chapter. He could get ugly very quickly.

National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration. I did a summer internship at their AOML facility down here while I was in high school. Lots of fun. Worked in the Ocean Acoustics division, and got to to go out on the research vessel a couple of times while testing and repairing equipment.
