(no subject)

Am at Twin Cities airport now. my plane's been delayed until 4:45 local time. not sure when I'm getting home. mom says there's snow on the ground in Jersey. this bodes ill.

I hate the last day of a trip. I simultaneously want to BE HOME RIGHT NOW and NOT HAVE TO LEAVE.

Also, unless I greatly miss my guess, it appears I have left my pants* in San Francisco. And the book on guns, but that was a matter of thinking they might get a little bit upset if they had to search my bags for some reason and turned that up along with the copy of Raging Hormones.

*American usage.

Spoil sport, the Brit usage would have made for more interesting stories.

I hope your flight takes off soon, with you on it, and is only noteworthy for not encountering any queues for landing.

American usage

haha, that reminds me. At con, the first night, when I came up to my room really late and slept on the floor. I really don't like wearing pants *american -- when I sleep. So in the morning I was all wrapped up in the blanket. And I waited to change until everyone else was out of the bathroom and then scuttled over in my blanket.

And I explained it to British-Kate. "Sorry. Don't have pants on under here. Don't sleep in them."

And she did this: "O.o You're not wearing pants?"
