Urgh.

I've been sick the past several days, alas, and so have not really had the chance to work on any writing, which I had hoped to do this weekend. The sickness has consisted of feeling ill in general, plus post nasal drip, sore throat, coughing,a nd a feverish sensation. Last night the coughing got worse as stuff sort of decided to descend from my sinuses whenever I got really into laughing- that's no fun at all. I'd been planning to watch Secondhand Lions and somehow didn't think laughter under those conditions would be good at all.

I'm feeling a touch better, though still drippy today, so I'll probably watch the Duvall today. I've had enough tea these past few days (most particularly yesterday) to float one of Zheng He's smaller ships.

Right now, I"m getting dressed enough to head across the street and buy gooshyfood for the cats. They've been on dry food the past few days and it's not a brand they seem to like to eat, so I'm going to make it up to them before I switch back to their usual. For me, food will be soup, tempeh, and planning out how to lose weight and get back into shape so I can do that century ride by October.

Further bulletins as events warrant. If my head settles out enough I will try to finish the H:H chapter I owe y'all.

Century ride in October?
Could that possibly be the Seagull?

Seagull is a very popular ride around here on the pennisula of Maryland. It's nearly all flat, it's well run, and you get to ride by wild ponies!

It's often the first century people do, because it's considered one of the easiest.

I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. I'm the only one in my house who is still capable of audible speech; everyone else has horribly sore throats and runny noses. They hate me so much right now. *not smirking*
Hope you get well soon.
