Dude, if that isn't the name and job description of somebody in a Pratchettonian equivalent of a pulp novel- or someone in the Thursday Next books- I don't know what is.

I would *really* like an explanation of that icon. It's fascinating but puzzling.

It's from a comic strip called Unshelved. The main character is a librarian named Dewey with a pronounced weakness for comic books. Some time ago- I don't remember the exact date- they had a strip where Dewey appeared as a different character in each panel, and in one of them they had him in John Constantine's getup saying "No more overdue books. EVER." I converted the text so it'd be more readable at icon size but the image is straight from that panel otherwise.
