Catching a glimpse of someone on the train conducting a Facetime call reminds me: I need to buy some googly eyes.

No, this is legit. See, I bought my iPad mini mostly for aviation navigation and computation purposes, but also to allow video communication with my niblings and parents- mostly the niblings, though, Mom and Dad are used to voice only. And the best tip I've found for making sure you make eye contact on a video call, instead of staring at the other person's imageand thus having them see you with your eyes pointing downward, is to mount a pair of googly eyes on either side of your device's camera. Looking at the eyes makes it look like you're looking the other person in your call in the face.

Also I find computing hardware with googly eyes amusing.

comments
