Saw Serenity.

happy now.

River is /so/ made of chocolate.

*nods sagely* "I can kill you with my beans."

But they killed off ... those guys they killed off!

*emphatic nodding*

Except for the kill, it was a pretty, pretty movie.

"The hell with this! I'm gonna LIVE!"

But are you serene?

Haven't seen Serenity. But then, didn't see Firefly, and owing to one thing and another haven't gotten it rented since it came out. But I have heard a lot of good things about it, from a lot of sources. So here's a question:

Is this gonna make sense to me if I go without having seen the show?

Curse you, Joss Whedon. Curse you and your sudden yet inevitable betrayal.

My kid had a vague idea of the characters but was very satisfied. Joss did a great job of bringing newbies up to speed w/o boring the existing fans.

"I am a leaf, floating on the wind! It's okay!" "What does that MEAN?"

"I can kill you with my beans."

I may need to borrow this sentence one day.

I loved Serenity, esp. River. *squeel* There is a rumor going around that if this movie goes well, there will be sequels.

well, there was a lot of Kill in this movie.

It was one Kill in particular that bothered me.

The rest I could've lived with.

Thank you for that line. That totally expresses my feelings about the whole situation. ;) Hehe.

Is not rumor. Three movies total (including this) if this one does well.
