You have to plan for a lot of things. Not just the stompy tail-smashing fire-breath rampage, but the holy-crap-the-wind rampage and the it-just-dissolved-that rampage. (I always thought Hedorah the Smog Monster was underrated.)

Then you also have to take into account the Previously Secret Government Anti-Monster Force (Mechagodzilla, MOGUERA, Jet Jaguar) and its effects. And you know that the government won't let you sue them for saving you while destroying stuff. Er. Destroying stuff while saving you.
