It's a bronze sculpture of a bear located in the lobby of the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus' Museum of Alaska. I don't know if it's there at the moment, as that picture was taken in September of 2003 and they were starting on a major renovation and expansion of the museum when I was visiting.
