Um, wow. That was... yeah. I've been following H:H for a while now and I'm very impressed. That word is as close as I can come to articulating how this installment made me feel. Impressed with your writing, absolutely. Also impressed, in a melancholic way, with how you depicted the feeling (Shock? Fear? Numbness? That crazy gripping sensation all through your stomach and your heart and your brain?) that comes with a terrorist bombing. One other effect of reading your post: I was also at ground zero on 9/11 and now I stupidly can't stop wondering if maybe I've seen you.
Anyway, well done. (A vaguely unsuitable way of expressing it, but I trust you know what I mean.) I won't even ask you to tell me that Arthur's still alive, because life just isn't fair like that.
