Woke up this morning with throat feeling sore. Not a big surprise, my room's very dry at the best of times, so I assumed it was mere dryness and grabbed a glass of water. No such luck - hours later I still have raspiness in the upper back left region of the throat. Also, my head is starting to stuff up, my eyes are on the itchy side, and I keep sneezing. Either allergy season has begun - which I doubt, as I don't generally have allergies - or I've picked up a bit of a cold. Oh well.
Not succumbing to first year medical student disease*. I know it's not SARS because I haven't had any contact with anyone who's been to the Far East in the past few weeks. This is just ucky, is all.
*"AIEEE! I have a symptom! Maybe several! They are all symptoms of the horrible thing I just read about this week! AIEE AIEEE AIEEEE!" "Shutup and read the next chapter." "But-" "Dude, we spent this week reading about cobalt beer syndrome. You don't drink."
