Folks, I have a favour to ask.
If you send an invitation to someone to connect profiles on LinkedIn, *please* include your online name/alias/whatever of most common use? I get connection requests from people whose RL names sound awfully familiar, but I can't entirely match them up to 'oh, I know $REALNAME from Dreamwidth!' or 'I know $REALNAME from Tumblr!', and a lot of people I know have relatively common RL names- so I can't be sure it's the real person I know vs. some random veterinary technician in Nevada, or wherever.
